"Do I need my previous X-Rays and records?"
You
don't have to bring your actual x-rays but rather the x-ray report if
you feel it would be helpful for the doctor to see. Results of recent
lab work done in the last six months, or any other specialized testing
records are also helpful to prevent repetition.
"When is payment expected?"
Payment
is due at the time of service. Painless Living accepts cash, personal
checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Click here
for complete billing policies.
"Is Painless Living a part of any insurance network?"
We
are not a part of any insurance networks. Painless Living will provide
patients with detailed invoice that they can submit to their insurance
company for possible reimbursement. The invoice will be marked asking
the insurance company to send any reimbursement directly to the
patient. If the insurance company inadvertently sends the payment to
Painless Living, we will promptly reimburse the patient in the form of
a check. Painless Living cannot however, guarantee any insurance
reimbursements. Some of the services at Painless Living may not be
billable to any insurance company.
"How long will I sit in the waiting room?"
Not
long. You may want to come a little early to fill out some preliminary
paper work, but other than that, you will see Dr. Cassaro at the time
your a re scheduled. For this reason, it is important that you contact
our office at least 24 hours in advance with any appointment changes.
Hint: If you want to make the new patient process faster, fill out your
"New Patient Forms" early.

"How long should I plan for for appointments?"
The
amount of time your appointment will take varies greatly. It all
depends on what tests and treatments are given by Dr. Cassaro, based on
your individual pain condition. There is no "standard" time allocation
for a patient. Set aside at least an hour, possible more.
"Will I get treatment for my pain on my first visit?"
Dr.
Cassaro will immediately begin the process of testing, examination, and
treatment as of the first visit to Painless Living. Treating your
chronic pain is Dr. Cassaro's top priority.
"Will I be able to drive after most treatments?"
Most
of the time. If Dr. Cassaro needs to apply a treatment that could
impair your ability to operate a vehicle (or any heavy
equipment/machinery) you will be notified in advance; prior to your
appointment. This way, you can make necessary accommodations for
transportation and work.
"Do I need to fast before my appointment?"
Fasting
is only required for certain lab tests. Fasting is required for 12-15
hours before those appointments, with the exception of water. If you
are instructed to fast, and your appointment is first thing in the
morning, eat nothing after dinner the night before your appointment.
"What is Neuroendocrine Modulation Therapy?"
Neuroendocrine
Modulation Therapy is the practice of finding and treating issues
within the body's metabolism that may be causing your pain to feel
worse. When this type of treatment is used with other treatments, pain
can be reduced greatly throughout the entire treatment process.
Is Medicare accepted?"
Yes.
